Add a little extra spring to your step in May and head out on the town! Soak up some sunshine, enjoy great live entertainment, or crack open a few crab legs! Cold weather is a thing of the past and Myrtle Beach is in full bloom!

May 5: Key West Music and Wine Fest
Location: La Belle Amie
Come out to La Belle Amie Vineyard for a day of great music and even better wine! Admission is $8, but with the donation of 2 canned/dry food items, you can knock $3 off the price. Take advantage of the perfect May weather here in Myrtle Beach and head on over!

May 11-20: Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally
Location: Grand Strand area
It’s that time of year again! Myrtle Beach will become the temporary home to thousands of bikers for our Bike Week Spring Rally. This year there will be bike shows, vendors, tours and more exciting activities around the Grand Strand. Visitors can enjoy daycations up to Charleston or Wilmington. The Harley Davidson locations in this area will be hot-spots, along with hangouts like Jamin’ Leather and Beaver Bar.

May 12: Mayfest on Main Festival
Location: Main Street, North Myrtle Beach
We’re kicking off summer a little early this year with the 13th annual Mayfest on Main Festival! Come out for a day of sunshine, live entertainment, and family fun. While you’re taking in all the festival has to offer, make sure to check out the available art, crafts, and food. There will also be a children’s area for the little ones. Make sure to bring a comfy blanket or chairs so you can kick back and enjoy the arrival of summer with free concerts.

May 17, 24, 31: Music on Main Concert Series
Location: Main Street, North Myrtle Beach
Need Thursday plans? Head over to Main Street on North Myrtle for free concerts! You can rock along to the performers or dine and shop til you drop while you explore downtown North Myrtle Beach. Admission is free for all concerts and music will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

May 19-20: World Famous Blue Crab Festival
Location: 4460 Minneola Avenue, Little River
It’s time to get the annual Blue Crab Festival crackin’ in Little River! The world famous event is hosted along the Little River waterfront and will feature tasty food, entertainment, and a kids area. Guests can enjoy live entertainment from performers such as Gary Lowder & Smokin Hot, Carolina Soul Band, Craig Woolard & the Embers, and Jim Quick & Coastline.

May 5, 12, 19, 26: Market Common Farmers Market
Location: Market Common
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. come out to Deville Street at the Market Common for the Farmers Market! You can load up on tasty, fresh produce, baked goods, as well as unique handmade items! The Farmers Market will run every Saturday starting in May until the end of September.

May 26: Memorial Saturday Music and Cookout
Location: La Belle Amie
Kick off your Memorial Day weekend celebrations with a trip to La Belle Amie Vineyard! Their wine isn’t the only thing that’s good — the live entertainment and food will be well worth the trip! Admission is $5, but with the donation of 2 canned/dry food items you will receive a $3 discount.
