January 1: New Year’s Day Brunch at Ocean Creek
Location: Four Seasons Restaurant at Ocean CreeK

January 1: New Year’s Day Labyrinth Walk
Location: Brookgreen Gardens
Enjoy the beauty of the Brookgreen Gardens as you reflect on 2017 and mentally prepare yourself for 2018. From 2 pm until 4 pm, you can work your way through the winding paths of the labyrinth as you take some much needed time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future.

January 5-January 26: Friday Night Live
Location: Uptown Theater at the Myrtle Beach Mall
If you’re a fan of “Whose Line Is It Anyways”, you’ll love this fast-paced improv comedy show! Performers will take your suggestions and create fast-paced comedy. If you’re looking for a fun night out with your significant other, get your fill of laughter and enjoy the show.

January 11-January 21: Restaurant Week
Location: Grand Strand Area
If you needed an excuse to check out that new restaurant, now is your chance! During restaurant week, you can check out a handful of Myrtle Beach restaurants along the Grand Strand and enjoy their tasty cuisine at a discounted price. Special menus and selections will be available at some of the best and most popular restaurants in the area.

January 12: The Market Common Military History Tour
Location: Grand 12 Cinema, Market Common
History buffs will love this one-hour narrated trolley tour around the Market Common District learning about the history of the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Once you’ve had your fill of history and knowledge, get your fill of lunch at a catered reception at Tupelo Honey featuring a special guest historical figure.

January 20: Rivertown Wine Around
Location: Conway Visitors Center
Enjoy a Saturday afternoon exploring the beauty of downtown Conway. As you window shop and take in all the sights, from 2 pm to 5 pm, you can take part in sampling a wide variety of wines. The cost to participate in the wine tasting is $22 per person.

January 21: Dublin Irish Dance
Location: Carolina Opry
Whether you’re paying homage to your Irish roots or you just love Irish culture, the Dublin Irish Dance will be putting on a show you won’t want to miss. This performance combines a world-champion Irish step troupe with an eight member traditional Irish band and vocalist. This all-star cast has brought Celtic culture to life all around the world, and next they’re coming to Myrtle Beach!

January 27-28: Taste of the MarshWalk
Location: Murrells Inlet Marshwalk
Each of the eight restaurants along the MarshWalk will be handing out tasty samples prepared by their award-winning chefs. If the promise of delicious food isn’t enough to lure you out, local artists and vendors will be lined up along the MarshWalk as well. While you’re snacking on samples, you can keep the kids busy with face painting, pony and camel rides, bouncy houses, and more!
