13 Nov How to Organize your Kitchen
You’ve just moved into your new home and now you are ready to organize! It can be a tough choice deciding what to put in each closet, cabinet, and storage area. Especially when it comes to kitchenware, with all of the pots, pans, glassware and more. Here are some tips to help you organize your kitchen.
Baskets or Containers
The pantry can be overwhelming with the amount of snacks, cereals, soups and other food items. Take baskets or clear containers and align them on the shelves in the pantry. Separate your food items by breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks.
Pots and Pans
There are about 12 pots and pans that come in a set and trying to find enough storage can be a pain. However, remember to look up when you are organizing. Today more kitchens have hanging pots above them than ever before. It gives your kitchen a rustic décor feel too.
If you are running out of places for your coffee cups or wine glasses, hang them up. It’s easy to get slide-out racks that go underneath your cabinets. Plus, the décor looks great!
When it comes to storing food, clear jars can make a huge difference. Sitting clear jars along your shelf or pantry can also let you know what items you are running low on too.
Hide Your Paper Towels
Save that counter space and get a towel rack that hangs over a cabinet. You will hide the roll of paper towels and give yourself extra room in the meantime.
This may be the most important. Rather than throwing all of your items into one drawer and creating clutter, buy yourself some draw dividers. Organize your silverware, spice, and flatware.
