4th of July in Myrtle Beach

4th of July in Myrtle Beach

As we get closer to the peak of the summer season, it’s time to plan for the 4th of July in Myrtle Beach! Up and down the Grand Strand, locals and visitors alike are celebrating our country and we have listed our favorite things to do on Independence Day.

Beach

Being only minutes from the ocean, it’s hard to resist a quick visit to sink your feet into the sand. Especially on the 4th of July! The Grand Strand is composed of miles and miles of soft sandy beaches. Grab your chair and some shades to hit the beach anywhere from scenic Pawleys Island to the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach.

Cookout By the Pool

By being a part of our StoneGate family, you have access to all of our luxurious amenities including the clubhouse and pool complex! Dive right in and enjoy the friendly community of neighbors around you. Feel free to grill out while soaking up the summer sunshine. It just wouldn’t be the 4th of July without a hot dog!

Shopping

When it comes to holiday sales, we prepare to shop til we drop. Myrtle Beach also offers plenty of shops where you’ll find everything from outlet malls to high-end boutiques. Stroll along the Hammock Shops Village and all the other quaint shopping complexes conveniently located in Pawleys Island.  Stop by Broadway at the Beach or Market Common for unique gifts or Barefoot Landing where you can shop along the waterfront.

Murrells Inlet Boat Parade

Head to the MarshWalk in Murrells Inlet to experience a patriotic tradition with your whole family! Bring along a blanket or some beach chairs to sit and watch the boats drive by decked in true American fashion. Don’t forget to wear your red white and blue and grab an American flag to wave!

Firework Shows

Without a doubt, the best part of celebrating Independence Day is by ending it with a stunning firework show! Here’s a few spots you can watch sparks fly this 4th of July in Myrtle Beach.

Cherry Grove Pier – 9:30 pm

Barefoot Landing – 10 pm

Broadway at the Beach – 10 pm

Murrells Inlet MarshWalk – 10 pm

Living in StoneGate at Prince Creek means living a relaxed beach lifestyle where you set the pace. Celebrate America’s 243rd Birthday this summer in Myrtle Beach!
